Boyfriend Shirt Challenge...Calling all students are you in or are you out?

Calling all tween, teen and college students do you have aspirations to be a clothing designer? We challenge you to create the most awesome original boyfriend shirt. We supply the plain jane boyfriend shirt and the rules...you supply the creativity. Beginning February 1st -l April 30, 2012 entrants can pick up their "Kit". Each kit contains 3 men's dress shirts in different colors. The challenge is to create another garment using the elements of the three shirts. The garment can be any kind including pants, shorts, skirt, a different blouse, dress, vest. 


All three shirts must be used in the newly created garment. Additional fabrics and embellishments may be used. Entries must be accompanied with a completed entry form. No entries will be accepted after the deadline of April 30, 2012. All entries must be dropped off at the EAST NORTHPORT STORE and the entries will be on display in the EAST NORTHPORT STORE ONLY. will be announced on May 5th. All entries will be on display in the East Northport Store from April 30 through May 12th. New creations will be judged by a panel of sewing experts,based on creativity, adherence to the rules, and technical skills. 


There will be two age categories with Grand Prize winners selected from each bracket. Teen for sewers ranging in age from 14-18 Adult for sewers ranging in age from 19-25 Prizes: Grand Prize is a Baby Lock sewing machine valued at $499!! Second Prize is a basket of essential sewing supplies valued at $150!! Third Prize is a $100 gift certificate to Pieceful Quilting!!
