YOUR INVITED to join the party on Friday, June 10th from 4-8pm at Pieceful Quilting at 3027 Jericho Turnpike in East Northport. 
Pieceful Quilting has joined with Etsy to orchestrate the Second Annual Global Craft Party.  Pieceful Quilting will be hosting the event at which crafters of all ages and abilities will get in touch with their creative sides.  The "make and take" projects will consist of several fabric kits including a flower pot cover (pictured).  Space is limited and registration is highly recommended.  Registration couldn't be easier just click on the link below.  The fee for this event is only $5.00 and includes ALL materials and instruction!!!!

The Pieceful Quilting Bees are hard at work on QFL "Trade Day"

Over 2800 six inch squares were collected at The Pieceful Quilting Bees Trade Day in East Northport.  They certainly will be very busy bees in the upcoming weeks making their quilt tops for charity.  We can't wait to see the reveal at our Half-Time "Show and Tell". 
Way to go Bees....your buzzing through the QFL season!!!

Sit and Sew Fun in Riverhead

There's no better way to start the weekend then at Pieceful Quilting in Riverhead.  Each Friday we get together with friends, have a simple dinner together and finally finish what you started each month. So won't you come on down and join us!  Jean, Jennie, Lorraine, Sandy and Sheryl will tell you its certainly worth the trip!

Scottie is happy to show you how much fun it is to use your embroidery machine.  In this embroidered table topper class, (which can be done on ANY embroidery machine that takes an 8x8 hoop) the topper is all embroidered IN THE HOOP, AND it's reversible.  Just imagine the possiblities...you can make the proverbial 2 for 1!  Honestly, it doesn't get much better than this!

Are you ready for some "Football" QFL style?

The 2011 season of The Quilting Footbal League is well underway.  The Pieceful Quilting Penguins of Riverhead had their Draft party on April 8th and The Pieceful Quilting Bees of East Northport had their Kick Off celebration over two days;  April 10th and 11th.   Both teams were briefed on the qfl rules and future event dates and although their "rosters" are in its never too late to join the fun.  Remember NO FOOTBALL KNOWLEDGE IS REQUIRED!  Here are some snapshots of the Bees QB or quilting back tryouts. As always we stepped up the challenge by blindfolding our QB recruits for the "hoop" toss.
